Task 1

1.
(1). Yes, I have told people" I have my own values and principles".
(2). I will tell him/her I don’t think that never skipping classes is ashamed. I am a person who is discreet and follow the prescribed order. And I think that being a student, we should take charge of our studies. We should be responsible for ourselves and be respect to professors too.

2.
(1). No, I don’t certainly believe everything people tell me. Because, when we heard this news from others, it might have already passed by many people. Everyone has his/her own thought to everything he/she heard. As soon as we hear something, we must make some comments on things. Before the person who told you the thing must also put his/her comments into the thing. As we got something from others, it might have been exaggerated by people who heard and passed.
(2). I will ask my friend where she got the news first and then remind her doesn’t readily believe it. As a saying goes,”no pains no gains.”

  1. It's bizarre that someone is ashamed that he or she never skips classes. Learning is students' privilege. However, excuses for skipping classes are various. Staying up log on the internet, being busy for part-time job, and feeling boring about that class are all the possibilities that students skip classes. Are those potential reasons worthy of missing classes? I am shamed of their causality about learning. This essay presents that the author has great enthusiasm about her learning. The author is in the right direction not only about absorbing knowledge, but the attitude toward life and people.
Critical thinking is important in life. Sometimes people judge events subjectively, especially the words a good friend says. People trust their friends and do what friends ask them to do. However, tragedy happens all the time when not reflecting on gossips. In stock market, people lose their finance for listening to the “professional” view. Think about it--if they were all profession in stocking, why don’t they invest their own property? To think in adverse way needs brave and solitude. When others think yes, stop and think about why not “no”.

  2. I think your writing is terrific. You express your thought fluently. You didn't make serious grammar mistakes in your writing. If you could improve the coherence of your writing, the writing would be near perfect. Try to think “why” about the previous sentence, before you write down the next sentence. Be careful of the connection between sentences. Moreover, in academic writing, try to avoid using first single person “I”. Writing sentence objectively is important. That means you write something with evidence, not from you feeling only.

  3. As far as I am concerned, I agree with your thought about two questions. Many people who I acquainted with when they skipped classes, their excuses are almost the same. Such as staying up log on the Internet and feeling boring or disagreeable about that class just like you were above-mentioned. I think when we chosen this class, we should accept it in spite of that we don’t like the class at all. Because it was our own decision, we need to take charge of the decision we made. The example” stock market” you mentioned is very reasonable. Sometimes, owing to endless desire, people will believe their friends easily without thinking twice. In the long run, people often lost their money and friendships between their friends.
And thank you for your analysis to my articles.

  4. What if the professors were not good enough to suit for your need? Would you skip the classes? The key point here is that the class is real bored and the lecturer could instruct well in class. What will you do? In my college era, many professors couldn’t pass their knowledge to their students. The only solution except for skipping class is reading novels while professors deliver their speech. Is the same situation happened to you? Or do you really pay attention to all the classes?

  5. To be honest, I had met this situation which you mentioned. I won’t skip the class, however; I will read other books when the professor delivers
a speech. Maybe the movement is disrespectable. However, if the professor really cannot give any useful knowledge to me, I would rather choose reading other books in this class.
